Cafe sov is an offspring of two restaurants–Loji and Jlio. Loji was a popular bar and Jlio was an old house dining restaurant, both of which were in a back street in the south of Tachikawa station. The owners decided to open the cafe in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic disaster in August 2020. With the strong will in mind, all the members of the shop welcomed the day. Some specialties such as “Roti sally chicken,” “Rich cinnamon meat pie,” “Quiche with five kinds of cheese,” which had been served in the old two restaurants, will also be served here. The owner said, “We will create the menus so that all customers can enjoy the dishes and satisfy the volume.” Many varieties of takeaway menus will be offered as well. The restaurant opens at 8:00 am and has a breakfast menu.
The name of “sov” has been named in the hope that people could find the name firstly on a search screen. In fact, many of customers has been visiting the café via the Instagram Stories.
“We will greet customers and see them off at the door. We want to remember the individual names of our customers,” said the owner. Their heart-warming hospitality and the comfortable atmosphere have been attracting many customers.
